Lindergaff, LLC founder Linda Hymes has been recognized internationally as a publisher, author, and classically-trained chef. A former ballerina, she trained at New York City Ballet's prestigious School of American Ballet then danced professionally for 15 years. She received her undergraduate degree in International/Intercultural Affairs from Fordham University at Lincoln Center and studied law at Bristol University in England, then went on to pursue her passion for cooking by graduating from the renowned Le Cordon Bleu in London. Returning to America, she founded Lindergaff, LLC and was awarded both Gold and Silver Medals at the 2002 Gourmand World Cookbook Awards and an Independent Publishers Cookbook of the Year Award for her first book, The Dancing Gourmet, Recipes to Keep You on Your Toes! Her books have been endorsed by Principal Chef Larry Lewis of Le Cordon Bleu of London, renowned chocolate maker John Scharffenberger, and magazines and newspapers throughout the U.S. and internationally. Lindergaff Books donates a portion of the proceeds of every book sold to Career Transition for Dancers non-profit organization based in New York City.
